Hi Bob,

How about these?

In The Heat of the Night was a great movie about life in a small town in the southern United States.

A Soldier's Story provided a good example of prejudice on southern military base during WWII.

Malcolm X tells the story of one man's involvement in the Black Muslims.

Black Like Me adds an interesting twist to the list of films about life for Blacks in the southern United States.

In general, I think most Americans understand what's happened over the last 400 years. Mostly different interpretations exist about that history, I think.

I'm glad to see Senator Barack Obama run for President because it exposes a great deal about current day thinking among Blacks and other Americans. Maybe one day there will be a realistic and true film about him?
