I also believe that the Presidential Debates need to be open to more than the two main parties. I almost never hear about alternative candidates views except after Election Day.

I know I can read those alternative views on the Internet, but why isn't the mainstream media open to more inclusion on the alternative views?

If you think politicians spend a lot of money on elections (and they do spend a lot) then think about how much money is spent by the media on Presidential Elections. That amount dwarfs what all the candidates combined spend...
